Plus, I'm always waiting for a series ballsy enough to kill off it's main character.

Given your icon, I have to wonder if you were as disappointed with the twist/not-twist as I was. I wish AoT had been that ballsy.

For a second I was like "Yes. Is the show is going off on how Eren inspired everyone and how even though he's gone, he still has an effect on the world?" And then the typical shounen super power showed up. At least I like Eren himself as a character.
