I've met 29 year olds who are terrifed by the prospect of turning 30, but that's a different thing.

Yeah, that's more a milestone thing. Thinking someone who is only a year older than you is "old" though boggles my mind.

But that isn't that you think 25 is old. That's a milestone kind of thing. It also doesn't change how you perceive age in other people. If you met a 25 year old I doubt you would think, "Oh I can't date them. They're too old for me."
