Tinhatting and hating

Tonight was the first time I've ever seen RPF fans bashing an actor's RL partner. I'd heard of this but never seen it firsthand. All the writers of RPF I've seen have been really clear about the division between reality and the fiction they writer. These people (one of them is a friend of mine) are being mean and awful and while the woman they're badmouthing will likely never know the BS they're spewing, it's still terrible they're doing it. Dammit. This sucks.

It does suck. In my experience usually RPF writers are really clear about that division and if there are tinhats they're a separate group, but of course that's not always true. It's also hard to have a friend let you down by acting like an asshole like that.

(I always the picture the partner, if they did find out, laughing their ass off as how pathetic it is. At least I really hope that's what would happen.)

Can I take a wild guess and ask if it's the wife/wives of Jensen Ackles and Jared Pad.? Their wives and babies are hateddddd by the insane J2 tinhatters. They actually think that their children (Jared has another baby on the way!) are "beards" and that "Hollywood won't let them be openly gay". It's disgusting because, uh, they're not part of Hollywood, and two there are tons of openly gay actors. Using that excuse just to spew the most hideous vile towards those innocent people just so they can make their 'porn real' is disgusting.
