(Anonymous) 2013-10-07 04:12 am (UTC)(link)Um... maybe prepare to be disappointed, then. There's very little of Sabriel in Lirael, as the book is set years after Sabriel. The series doesn't really cover the timeline from beginning to end, it jumps around. Sabriel doesn't feature prominently in the remainder of the trilogy at all.
They're still enjoyable, but yeah, I was disappointed, too.
