By classical do you mean anything with "classical" instruments like violins and whatnot? Like the orchestral stuff in an RPG, for example?

Hey deth! Nice choices today but I was wondering where you get most of your music from? A lot of the stuff you post is stuff I've never heard of but really enjoy..

Not counting video game stuff, a lot of it is discoveries through genres I enjoy, which is why I post a lot of random post-rock type music.

To take today's offerings as an example, I've been a Half-Life fan for over a decade and Half-Life 2 has one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard. I discovered Perturbator through the game Hotline Miami, which was also responsible for me getting seriously into "new retro" music, you know, music deliberately evoking the synthesizer music of the 80s and early 90s. Devin Townsend is a big name in metal circles (mostly because of his work with Strapping Young Lad, but he's also a producer and played with Steve Vai for a time) and I've been listening to his stuff for years. And I found Callisto years ago because I really liked the band Isis (they were eventually my favourite 'til they broke up) and wanted to find more bands like it.
