I hate Teen Wolf the most because I feel like it spurned all the "pack" (lol) flics as well as the Alpha Bits or whatever they're called ones that infiltrate every other fandom. I couldn't even look for a Breaking Bad finale synopsis without stumbling across "Jesse Pinkman goes into heat."

Err, A\B\O fics were around before Teen Wolf the series even came on air, I think they originated in the Supernatural fandom (although I may be mistaken).

Alpha/beta/omega predates Teen Wolf -- it apparently developed on the SPN kink meme and rampaged through every fandom. There are worse eldritch horrors that could have escaped from there...

There are tags for almost everything on the SPNKink_meme to be fair, but yes, bestiality (more with Jensen than with Dean though) is disturbingly popular. By comparison, I'm pretty glad it's ABO fic that made it out!

Are you relatively new to fandom? Because that stuff has been around for awhile. Though I agree it has exploded in the TW fandom, much to my own disappointment.
