Quit being melodramatic, OP. The majority of the fandom world doesn't give a shit about what you like or dislike. You might get some grief from some particularily loud and annoying tumblr types, but aside from those no one gives a damn.

That said, I share your grief on the prevalence of those fandoms. They probably not nearly as omnipresent as I feel they are, but if you don't care for them at all it sure as hell feels as though every second fic in any given fandom is a crossover with one of those four. If you read fic on the AO3 you might want to check out this script, which apparently works like tumblr saviour but was made for the AO3 and was linked by a very helpful anon just yesterday. Or the day before yesterday. Not too long ago, in any case.

IYou can blacklist authors, tags and keywords in the summaries with this - just put the fandom tags in there and enjoy browsing.

This script is a thing of beauty. (No more Bagginshield for me, yay!)

It really is. After reading this secret I went and added Sherlock to the blacklist and then went to the fandom's main pages to cackle at all the "This work is hidden" notices.

I've never seen an xover with Homestuck and *any* fandom, no TW/Sherlock, and a very few Sherlock/Supernatural ones. I think either OP is super-sensitive to this stuff, or is looking in weird places.

I've seen some on AO3, though you're right, they are no where near the amount of [Fandom]+Sherlock/Supernatural/Teen Wolf crossovers. No idea what's it like on Tumblr though.

But again, I think this is a case of being more sensitive to the things you don't like. I love Avengers and I don't feel as though there are too many Avengers crossovers, even though I've seen smaller fandoms where a good chunk of the fics were MCU crossovers.

I'm on Tumblr but i don't go there to read fic. Most text there is too small for me to read and i like to be able to comment without reblogging, so - LJ and AO3 for fic, for me.

Tumblr is for eye candy. :)
