I don't think either of the new Trek pass the Bechdel test, actually.

I don't remember any female characters in Star Trek except Uhura and her roommate, whose only conversation is about the roommate's bringing men home constantly, and while Into Darkness gave Carol a large role, I don't think she and Uhura (again, the only female characters in the movie, aside from a few random backgrounders) actually interacted. I'm not sure they were ever even in the same room.

Uhura and Gaila (the roommate) talk about Uhura's work in the lab. It's a technical pass, not a good one.
