I don't like the bechdel test because works with only one significant, realistic, and well developed female character fail because aparently you need more than one girl or it doesn't count?
I get the issue with one lonely female character being drowned out by half a dozen of her male counterparts, but what if they're all secondary and the story is really about her? Or what if there are only two characters total and they aren't both ladies?
