you don't have to de-anon if you don't want to but IF you want to, you could always use anon for more personal comments or if you think your comment might start an argument, and then de-anon for quick, jokey responses. Or maybe if you notice the same logged-in regulars responding to your anon comments, or if you find yourself reading their threads a lot, you could reach out to them in a PM.

I used to anon for jokey stuff or stuff that was bordering on offensive, but now I'm like "fuck it" and am signed in pretty much all the time.
