coffeeshops that serve beer are THE BEST

they're such an incredible innovation, it's shocking to me that all of them don't. it's just so obvious. why wouldn't you. especially if you can also sit outside. i can't even comprehend how awesome it would be if you also add a bookstore.

well I guess getting a license for it would be a pain in the ass

and actually at this place they didn't allow alcohol outside (which I'm assuming has to do with licensing as well) but yeah they had beer and wine, AND awesome books at reasonable prices. My friend got an anthology of Russian science fiction, which I am currently borrowing.

It was such a cozy place, too, if I lived nearby and was a full time writer I would be there all the time.
