Heh, I couldn't eat for a couple of days (seriously it took me two tries, hours apart, to eat all of a Hershey's Kiss one of those days), and was so dehydrated and malnourished afterwards it just made sense to pack a bedside cooler and not move while working on getting some strength back. It is the ultimate way to let yourself veg out and recover.

Unfortunately you still have to get up to use the bathroom unless you go so far as getting a bedpan, but the less times you have to get up, the better. You have the right to be "lazy" and take care of yourself when things get rough. ;)

Ouch, that sounds bad. I'm sorry you went through that, and I'm glad you're doing a bit better now.

Still, thank you. It's good to hear that it's okay to put everything off for a bit to recuperate, and my desire isn't selfish or stupid.
