Thanks very much for responding and being supportive. If it comes down to it, I will let my supervisors know that I've been having serious issues with my health. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure that the clinic that saw me doesn't give out notes about sicknesses. I'll ask to be sure, if becomes an issue, though.

And thank you. It helps to have it put into perspective, that this is something that needs time to recover from.

I'm actually glad you spoke about this, and I'm also glad I contributed somehow, even if it was only a little. Ask anyway at the clinic, there's nothing to lose in at least asking. I get that feeling of not wanting to be percieved as weak (specially if it has to do with academia or a job), but your wellbeing is more important, 'k?
