see i loved wynne, she was such a great mom to me. but yeah fenris is really the only warrior character that uses two-handed weps as a default (iirc??) and his personal talent tree is bomb as heck. it would really suck to lose him.

it sucks losing bethany (for me at least, i've never ended up with carver) bc i was using her as my healer and i ALWAYS take fenris so when bethany goes to the circle/dies i'm pretty much stuck such anders. he's a good fighter imo but his not getting along with fenris bugs the hell out of me.

I think it was the well-meant but very insistent butting into the Warden's relationships that got to me - and my MageWarden never liked her, but he never liked anything about the Circle XD

Someone had spoilt me about the Bethany situation, so I didn't bother taking her with me most of the time. But yeah, taking Anders and Fenris was a hassle - when one reacted positively to something, you bet the other reacted negatively... So when it came to mage-related quests, I always took Aveline with me.

I wouldn't have missed Isabela too terribly, but that would have been because I always play rogue and I didn't need her - I wasn't too thrilled about her "civil war is okay as long as I get to keep my treasure" stunt - but she and my Hawke were buddies, so she stayed XD
