Yay! So do I, I also speak in negative -> positive* which makes non native Norwegian speakers really confused...

*As in "I am not, not opposed to the idea of going out" instead of saying "I would like to go out"

Actually, depends on how you use your tone. We say you can't use double negatives but a lot of people are guilty of it once in a while.

Yeah, my mothers new boyfriend accused me of speaking in riddles the other day, I don't he is just Swedish and my accent and Swedish does not mesh well together, and on top of that my natural way of speaking and I can understand why he does not understand me all the time...

Why did I write that, right, because I was supposed to say, I speak in double negatives a lot actually, in both languages, but the negative then positive thing I mostly only do in Norwegian....
