I was a blown away. And I saw it last Thursday in a special "opening" preview, and at that time I had no idea what it was. My friend asked me to go to the movie, and promised me sci-fi. It's not really sci-fi (at least, not what I think of when I think of sci-fi) but I was pretty much in awe of it and developed a new respect for Sandra Bullock.

It's definitely.. um, unique? in a lot of ways. Only two actors, a woman protagonist in an action/survival movie, no romance... and the whole thing is set in zero gravity. Very cool.

by "no idea what it was" I mean I hadn't even heard of it, let alone been aware of the hype surrounding it. So totally unbiased going in!
