For all that Harry/Draco and Hermione/Draco are popular, it's a bit weird that Ron/Draco never took off.

Whoa, what? I ship it, and there are a decent amount of fics for it. Check the Ron/Draco tag over at crack_broom on LJ. Read everything by Mad Maudlin (http://archiveofourown.org/users/Mad_Maudlin/pseuds/Mad_Maudlin/works?fandom_id=136512). My favorites are Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, and Pizzeria.

I agree. I have to hand it to the anon above me, fic exists, but so little of it is quality, and the amount of RonxDraco certainly pales in comparison to HarryxDraco or HermionexDraco.

(I'm also partial to GinnyxDraco, which has just about the same amount of popularity as RonxDraco, if not a bit more.)
