I don't think they're ever going to be a canon couple and I don't ship them but the writers sure seem to be fond of baiting the possibility of Kent being into Chandler, from Riley and Mansel joking about Kent tattooing Chandler's face on his chest to the finale having Kent flub 'have a drink with us' to 'have a drink with me'

Of course there's also the possibility that Kent just wants to turn Chandler into a skin-suit

I have no idea what this fandom is but I really think that the possibility that X (secretly) wants to turn Y into a skin-suit should be considered more often in shipping wars... particularly if one half of the ship is 'tragically damaged.'
