lol the other day on tumblr i read a list of ableist terms that should be avoided. the words "stahp" and "ermahgerd" was on there, because it apparently mocks people with retainers who have difficulty speaking without a lisp. hahaha wtf.

Which in itself is so retarded it might count as ableism, so...

"Stahp" came from Jersey Shore, where one of the girls would constantly cryshout at her boyfriend "RON STOP!!!!" but in her accent it came out as "RAHN STAHP"
