Oh, man. That's something that really annoys me about SJWs on tumblr.

"I'M A MINORITY AND I DON'T EXIST TO EDUCATE [INSERT PRIVILEGED GROUP HERE]. THEY SHOULD ALREADY KNOW THEIR PRIVILEGES! IT'S COMMON SENSE!"

Uh....no. How the hell are people supposed to know they're doing something wrong if you don't tell them? People can't be educated on things they don't know exist. Just yelling at them and calling them "privileged scum" isn't going to get the point across. :/

It makes even less sense when you consider the internet is, y'know, a vast network of information. Don't want to educate somebody? Link them to an article or FAQ that does. It takes about ten seconds of your time.

If you link someone to an explaination and they're STILL being ignorant, THEN you can get mad.

It's like that person I saw on tumblr, who claimed to be ftm trans but kept dressing in a stereotypically female way and then was bitching all the time that people were using the wrong pronouns when meeting them for the first time.

Listen, I'll use every (reasonable) pronoun you want, but unless you present in a way that's easily recognisable, you can't expect everyone to magically guess your gender identity.
