Can we stop with this "oh tumblr" thing? Tumblr is not the source of this. It definitely does have a large community of SJW types, but it's mostly NOT like that, not to mention there are lots of people on other sites who ARE. It just derails discussion to point a finger at tumblr and leave it at that.

Most of it (at least in fandom circles) does come from tumblr though. So "oh tumblr" is a fair comment to make.

No. Because Tumblr is the source of A LOT of this shit. And it isn't all of Tumblr of course (not even the majority). Most Tumblr users are sane and just there to enjoy fandoms or photography or whatever.

But the vocal and insane minority is where a lot of this shit happens. Hell, that minority is more insane than on Reddit. It doesn't help that Tumblr is essentially a huge echo chamber where those batshit SJWs can just reblog and spread their crazy batshit info with a click of a button.

that's the sad thing about tumblr. it's so easy to reblog anything, so a stupid opinion or idiotic misinformation can be spread to thousands of people. and sadly, many SJW tumblrs do have thousands of followers.
