Except that there's a lot more to the fandom than just bad college AUs? Granted, there are A LOT of bad college AUs out there, but pretending that's all that there is--or that it's only the Amis who get subjected to it--is just silly. There are plenty of interesting AUs or canonical stories that have nothing to do with colleges--or that have an actual plot if they do involve college. There's actually quite a few really interesting fantasy and dystopian stories with the Amis, if you're ever interested.

I'm just recounting a lot of what I personally see. Anyway, I'm not really interested in reading fic for Les Mis. I love it a lot, but it's not something I'd ever really consider a fandom.
