Go on Etsy. Look up nail polishes. Look at all the fandom-inspired nail polishes. At least, that's my immediate take on anon's post, because I've seen a hella lot of fandom-inspired things that made me do a head-tilt. The Adagio Teas fandom blends, for example. Not that I wouldn't want to get in on that, but alas, my problem with that is the same as the nail polishes:

There are many I'd love to have, but there are more important things I'd like to spend money on. Say, food and mortgage.

I've seen the fandom inspired nail polishes... I just didn't know that they were a fandom to itself worthy. I've also seen all those teas! I think they're a real neat idea and the art can be lovely. Unfortunately, can't spend money on fandom teas.

I would love to learn how to blend teas that way and make my own fandom set. My BFF and I have discussed what flavors we think goes with which character. Still, the cost prohibits either of us from buying an experiment kit (and we're too far apart, distance-wise, for us to go in together).

Personally, I assumed it was based around the nail-polish guru-types on youtube? I know that's what "make up" fandom is at least. -shrugs-

This was kind of what I was thinking. Or just the collector types - I mean, if dolls or other collectibles can be a fandom, then so is nail polish.

I *am* wondering why starved, filthy, missing fingers,toes,teeth,and dick Theon looks like a bishie in that fanart, though. It kind of makes the whole thing less meaningful to me tbh.
