I was nodding along about culture being important until you got up to the bit about the rest of the world following then remembered why I hate most religions.

If it makes you feel better, I just tossed that part in because it's part of scripture. I'm not saying you have to believe it, but maybe you want to look into the idea and decide where you stand. I looked into it and said I'm more interested in protecting me and my own than saving the world.

How are you and your own not part of the world? Like, I fail to see how protecting you and your own is a mutually exclusive concept from saving the world.

Of course I'm not one hundred percent sure what it is you're talking about anyway because it seems like you're dancing around not wanting to say something you know would offend people.
