Thank you so much for giving me a reasonable non finger-pointy response.

1. I'm not vaccinated and I have never had any of these disease either. (This has been vaguely attributed to long-term breastfeeding.) I am also grateful for that.

2. Shit if I hadn't had the chicken pox by the time I was a teen I would have asked for the shot myself. I know it's far more harmful in adults than it is in children and that it's still prevalent. I'm even considering a shingles vaccine after seeing my grandmother's case.

3. My population at the moment is very into vaccination, so I feel relatively safe until a vaccine-resistant illness springs up. I want to see the issues closer to home before I decide whether to vaccinate and for what.
