Here's the part where I sound like a complete idiot. :)

I've had this problem for a few years. I never really thought anything about it because my mom had a bladder so tiny as a kid she needed surgery done on it. We'd always thought I had the same thing, just not as bad, and it was just something I was going to have to deal with. One evening I realized I hadn't started having these problems until several years after I graduated high school, so the small bladder thing didn't really make sense. That's when I decided I needed to talk to my doctor about it. She thought that OAB might be the problem, but wanted me to try the dietary changes first, which haven't helped. I can't afford to make a special appointment just for this, which is why I only see her once a year to begin with.
