Characters you could like if..

Hey, how about this as a topic? Characters you DON'T like as they are but who you COULD like if for a change? Like, for some reason Alison Brie gets on my nerves as Annie in Community but I think I'd like her if she was played by someone else. (Kind of a bad example but do you guys get what I'm saying?)

I have to work really hard to disassociate Pepper Potts from Gwyneth Paltrow in the Iron Man movies. When successful I love Pepper! Otherwise I'm just kind of vaguely annoyed by innocuous things.

Me too. I'll just remember some of the asinine, elitist things she's said IRL and my enjoyment goes out the window.

I would have liked Ghost Rider if he had been played by someone other than Nic Cage. I usually like him fine but thought he was all wrong for that role.

I think I'd like Teen Wolf's Kali a lot more if her motives hadn't been tied up in Ennis. They didn't even remotely flesh out Kali's relationship with Ennis, so for her motives to be intrinsically tied to her feelings for him (which the audience was told about rather than shown...)

If the writing had been better, I could have liked her a lot. Especially if Ennis hadn't existed at all. As is, I think she's the worst written character in the history of the show and I hate her. (The entire Alpha Pack was wasted potential, in my opinion.)
