Talk to me when she's, like, five, and has a personality.

The problem with that is that babies/kids aren't devoid of personalities one day and instantly gain them the next. You sort of have to put in that leg work from the very day they're born.

by saying "Talk to me when she's, like, five, and has a personality," that person was inherently disputing the notion that babies are not devoid of personalities. it's literally right there in the quote.
