yet another straight lovecraft rehash because frictional is creatively bankrupt and can't do anything besides ape nearly century-year-old ideas from a long-dead xenophobe, with completely unsatisfying gameplay and some stupid, stupid, stupid design decisions such as sanity effects (an unnecessary gimmicky element that's only there as a fix to another equally unnecessary element present in penumbra) and the fact that your fucko is too much of a god damn wuss to even pick up a board or something to defend himself with

it is a bad game with bad mechanics and bad writing and bad story and bad monster design and bad everything and i'm fucking sick of being the only person (or damn near) who doesn't like it

somehow the sheer amount of slobber that game gets when there's so many other games that do horror so much better that get ignored just makes me hate amnesia even more

i will say SOMA looks interesting though
