Yes agreed, very very lucky. Although i always thought it was the norm to learn and grow from people who drag you down so i kinda feel bad if someone hasn't experienced it yet really.

That's true too! I definitely grew a lot from my experiences, so in some ways someone who hasn't gone through it is missing out on a lot it terms of life experience. And it's not like they won't encounter someone like that eventually, so it's better to have the skills and knowledge to do it once it does happen.
