Up mine? Ooh kinky.

"Smexy" or not, he's got an extreme lack of character in TRC; I prefer to read my "heroic" character tackling personal challenges as he did in CCS, rather than just accepting the lame tradgedy of it all; acting indifferent about everything with a fake smile and just saying that he'll eventually accomplish stuff, but do nothing until someone's threatening to kill him is just boring to read. I'm sure based on that opinion, you'd understand why I don't like TRC, right? The original characters are ignored, while the crossover characters are completely out of wack.

Feel free to love it more based on people's negative opinions, but that doesn't change my opinion in one bit and only makes you look like you're in denial. :\ I don't mean that in an offensive way, but merely an honest one. You're free to feel however you want about the story and characters, but so is everyone else.

What was he supposed to do? Telling Sakura he'd given up their relationship to save her life would've accomplished nothing. Instead, he just tried his best to get her feathers, and tried to deal with the fact that she'll probably never remember her. And he wasn't 'indifferent' towards Chun Hyang, or the kids in Jade country, or when he thought Fye had been murdered in Tokyo, or towards Ryuu-ou, or Ashura-ou, or when he witnessed Kurogane's past.

And if we're comparing the crossover charas, then he should be compared to R!Syaoran. C!Syaoran had half a heart, and a different, 'softer' personality because of his past. And R!Syaoran risked everything believing C!Syaoran would develop a heart, then when he didn't, attempted to destroy him like he'd promised he'd do. And when Sakura ignored him and everything, he still helped her and didn't just 'do nothing'.

I'm not gonna force you to like TRC!Syaoran (s?), but saying he does nothing or that he's indifferent to everything is just a shallow view of his chara. :[

And regardless of all this, telling a fan of him to 'just read CCS' isn't the smartest thing to say.
