Yeah, Firefly finished weak. The final 14 episodes just kept getting worse, and the psychosis of the fanbase puts people off by fucking wedging the name of their godforsaken piece of shit show into every other fucking discussion and they deserve to be hunted down and strangled with their own smugness.

Bless you for this comment. I watched the show when it aired and enjoyed it, but it hasn't aged well and the fans behaving as you say are so cringe-worthy.

??? Are you saying I'm being smug about Firefly??? That really was not my tone, I was just thinking Firefly had the strongest start of any Whedon show, that's not to say I think it's OMG THE BEST THING EVER INVENTED, just when compared to like how Buffy or Angel started, or even Dollhouse (though I did really like the original Dollhouse pilot.) Firefly was a little more together, Whedon was more in touch with how to run a television show then when he first started Buffy.

If you don't want to hear about Firefly though, I suggest you stay out of any discussions even remotely related to Whedon though. Being angry about it is not really going to stop the fanbase, they've been that way for a long time and I don't see it stopping.

Thanks, I was honestly just confused about the reaction because I didn't intend to come off as smug at all. I understand certain certain fandoms can get annoying (especially if you aren't a part of it) but I haven't been even slightly involved with Firefly in years and I only even think about it when I'm comparing Whedon shows in general.
