Yeah, fridging is definitly the way to go here. I mean, can you imagine a better way to give your male character growth, than by killing of female characters? Hell, can you imagine any other way?

None that don't also result in her death. I'll be honest, her being fridged is pretty much the ends not the means. If she can take the male science bunny with her to an icy death as well then I'd be more than happy.

Fridging isn't always bad you know. Like every other plot device and cliche its all in the execution.

Hi, I love you. Skye's not my favorite character by any means, but the subset of fandom wishing very vocally for her death skeeves me out.
