what do you mean by being clumsy? breaking glassware? accidentally adding too much/too little? bad at loading gels? a lot of improving in the lab is just getting practice with doing things. writing out everything you're going to do with the exact amounts of stuff you're going to pipette before even going to your bench helps a lot.
