Re: Best friends forever - yesterday

I was really surprised a few years ago when my best friend and I had a nasty blow-up and she refused to talk to me... turned out I didn't miss her pretty much at all after the first month or so. Every now and then I still wish I had someone to talk to, and I still think "ahahah [friend] would get a kick out of this" or whatever, but ... we've made amends, but we've also both moved on, so we don't need each other the way we used to and we're just not really close at all. Which seems kind of sad, but it's a crappy thing to need someone else, IMO, so I'm okay with it.
