Rumor has it that she's horrible to work with, both to the crew and to her co-stars. For everyone who says "but she's gotten steady work since Buffy!"... yeah, but most of it was early on and consisted of stuff like Scooby Doo and The Grudge, ffs. Her new TV series was cancelled after one season, and this is the most revealing part-- she's NEVER worked on a Whedon project again. Whedon LOVES to cast people he's worked with before, and she's the glaring exception.

I don't think it's got anything to do with her politics, honestly. I'm guessing that the rumors are true and nobody wants to work with her.

She's not the GLARING exception. The only actors I've noticed Whedon working with are Amy Acker, Denisoff, Dushku and maybe Nathan Fillion...yeah, I think that's it. The ones he's worked with repeatedly.

I suspect it's because they were the ass kissers.

The ones he hasn't worked with again are a bit more numerous - SMG, Boreanaz, Charisma Carpenter, the one that played Xander, ASH, JAR (except for the Shield pilot, the one that played Anya.

Not saying I haven't heard SMG was hard to work with but I doubt that's why she doesn't work with Whedon again. My own opinion is, for the most part, people who work with Whedon only like to do it once.

She showed up in Dr. Horrible. She's completely covered up with a hat and sunglasses, and doesn't speak, but she's in the end where Captain Hammer is giving his speech.
