But that's contradictory, isn't it? If everyone has free will, God certainly can have no plan regarding what happens in human interaction, because if he does, humans have no power in their choices and therefore, no free will.

I prefer to think that God has an ultimate goal, but we humans have a choice exactly how we get there.
