Re: This show is basically the sci-fi/superhero equivalent of Merlin

It's not that I don't enjoy Agents of SHIELD, it's just that my primary motivation for watching it is not the show itself, but the fandom surrounding it. I think there's a difference between "not good" and "bad", and until it gets truly into the the latter category, I'll stick to it.

If I think something is truly un-enjoyable, I would not waste my time at all, or at most read summaries or something (and to be fair, I couldn't really tolerate Season 5 of Merlin, so I got by on various summaries and watching clips of the episodes in order to read the fic). But even though they weren't the greatest, I still stuck around for the first four seasons of Merlin.
