Oh, honey. I've very recently come out of an abusive relationship which dragged on as a 'friendship' for months after it ended, after which I put my foot down and said he can't so much as message me anymore. It seemed like seeing how much I would take was his hobby or something ffs

Anyway tl;dr I guess what I'm saying is that I can understand you. You are not pathetic for crying! I would go practically catatonic at the slightest triggers/reminders of him for months, I couldn't function! So please, give yourself time. It's going to be shitty. You're going to hate everything for a while. But eventually, it fades into the background. I still think of what happened, though it was a year ago. But you know what? Fuck them. We're fabulous.

Seriously two questions

1. Was he actually interested in you or were you just awkwardly crushing on him and "breaking your heart" means the crime of not being interested

2. Did he "replace you" or did he just, you know, make new friends as human beings are apt to do? Was he supposed to make a shrine to you and weep over it periodically?
