Question, I've admittedly not seen the second movie; does movie!Charlie pull the same bullshit "i'm so proud of you kissing my daughter without her consent and her hurting herself trying to make you stop" move as he does in the books? /why I haven't seen the second movie

I saw the second one when it first came out, so I have no idea. Sorry! My memory is bad. (Maybe try asking someone up in the thread on in the comment section?)

No, his reaction is more appropriate. I can't remember it exactly but I remember thinking "Thank God they fixed that!" (I think Edward tells Charlie it's against Bella's consent but at any rate it's not that "Good for you, son" BS that's in the book.)

Well, that's good! I always felt, (and I know this is an odd comparison because technically speaking it's his canon behavior, and that can't be "out of character" exactly) that Charlie was ridiculously out of character in that scene. :/
