While I understand your reasoning to a certain extent (and it's really not special - you are in the majority with this, actually, sorry, no glittery snowflake badge for you :'( !), the second half of your secret doesn't work with Sherlock, because he never showed any real interest in anyone on a sexual level.

Yes. I was commenting on the picture in the secret, where only BBC Sherlock is present.

I only call the BBC Sherlock "Sherlock". Original Sherlock Holmes and Sherlock Holmes from adaptions close to the original would be "Holmes". Though original Holmes never expressed any sexual interest in anyone, either.

I ignore the other adaptions.

That's what I was thinking. John could be straight, bi or gay and still in the closet because of his time in the army, but Sherlock as pretty much said he is asexual.
