They are starting to list titles as kanji | romaji | English, which creates some really long titles and makes it more difficult for people who are browsing in English. I understand they want to respect the culture of the source material, but Japanese language fandom already has their own fan culture and their own sites and are not interested in OTW-style fandom. FF.net lists titles as English/Kanji.

There's also the Yuletide - AO3 connection, and anime and JDrama fans have felt like the Yuletide mods just don't get non-Western fandoms, but I've requested and received anime fanfic without any problems.

That really sounds annoying. I can totally understand wanting to respect the original source material and give the original title however it could get irritating. Some anime titles have long names and would just make things absolute ridiculous. Is there any particular reason why they don't list the English title first?

Using ctrl+f everytime you look for a title would be a pain. You could always bookmark every fandom you're in, I suppose. Do you have any idea if they're going to go back and do this for every anime title?

I don't know much about yuletide, but that could play a part in it.. I know anime/manga fandom isn't as big as it once was so maybe most people post their fic on ff.net instead of Ao3 because it has a larger userbase.
