Agreed. Realistically I know people have sex and masturbate, but that doesn't mean I want to talk to near-strangers (or even close friends) about when and where I'm doing it...

I'm not suggesting they wave a dildo in their room mates face and go "DO YOU SEE THIS? IT NEEDS TO BE INSIDE OF ME AT LEAST TWICE A WEEK. HOW CAN WE MAKE THIS HAPPEN?!?!" but a discreet discussion about alone time might be the way to go. People masturbate. people have sex. owning up to these facts and preparing a system so that you don't wind up with an accidental audience seems a far more mature system than trying to not let your bed creak.
