...That's more fics than exist in many of my fandoms for ANY pairing or gen. XD But yeah, when I started watching TOS, I was like "Wait, people ship Spock with KIRK? The chemistry with Bones, man! ...Not that both of them don't also have chemistry with... oh screw it, OT3."

(Does it help if I mention I'm in the middle of a long plotty K/S/Mc fic? Rebootverse, because it's a sequel to another thing I wrote, but now over 200K words and still not done, which is why I'm not posting yet. :P)

What is the first fic? I may have read it! I prefer Reboot verse (but will read TOS).

The first fic was a Kirk/Spock AU called "Fighting Gravity". I really don't ship Kirk/Spock by themselves, but my girlfriend does, so I wrote it for her, then posted it and got all these comments going "Please write a sequel!" And I was like... I am so not writing a sequel. Unless I can... OHOHOHO WAIT.

Consequently I'm pretty sure most people who liked the first story will be pissed off, but oh well. It's the sequel I want to write.

I will probably read the sequel! But I also don't ship Kirk/Spock by themselves. Just McCoy/Anyone.

Exactly. The Spock/McCoy is by far the strongest side of the triad for me in TOS, and in rebootverse Kirk/McCoy. Don't really give a crap about Kirk/Spock in either verse, hahah.

Oh, hey. I really like "Fighting Gravity." It was one of the first fics I read when I started reading K/S and I really enjoyed it.

Heh, thanks. That was one of those things where it started out as a joke and then I was like "Wait... WAIT. IT'S NOT COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE. It will just take a hundred thousand words or so to make it make sense." I'm always glad to know people liked the end result. =)

Hopefully not everyone who liked the original will hate the sequel (if I ever manage to finish it, which I've actually been thinking about lately, after a long hiatus from writing at all).
