Okay now I'm confused. The second way is how I instinctively pronounce it. Maybe I'm misunderstanding other people's attempts to spell the pronunciation. To me it seems like everyone is telling me to pronounce it the "wrong" way according to your link?

Ok, lemme see, since 95% of the sounds in Spanish are the same as the sounds in Japanese (that's why romaji works so well for us), I'll record a clip :3 Give me a sec.

The youtube video you linked worked fine! I'm just confused because it seems like everyone else is saying the first pronunciation is the correct one.

I... am even more confused. I'm so sorry! The video you linked says the correct pronunciation is Ya-oy but you pronounced it with the -ee sound?
