My thoughts to follow --> The very first day you wear contacts, your eyeballs kind of freak out. They aren't used to having to moisturize the contacts plus your eyes, so they don't work hard enough. Plus they aren't used to have the contacts there in the first place, so you feel it every time you blink. Give it a few days to let things settle and acclimate. And get some decent eyedrops to have with you. I use Visine for Contacts.

Practice will help with putting in/taking out. It's just weird having fingers that close to eyes, so it takes some getting used to.

Congrats on getting them, though! I hope everything works out for you with them.

I hope they work out too! Yes, I'll probably have to buy some eye drops. I have never had dry eyes before but I have never had plastic discs in my eyes before. :P

Just make sure you get drops that are compatible with your type of contacts. I can't use drops with mine, but I can use my general-purpose solution as eye drops.
