Congrats! And they do take getting used to, so the time thing is normal and it will be next to nothing eventually.

I wore contacts for years and then my eye doctor told me they were drying out my eyes too much and I had to switch to glasses fulltime. Because the contacts are right on your eyes, you can see better with them, so I miss that. and like you mentioned, it makes 3D movies and swimming easier. I do have a pair of prescription sunglasses. The annoying thing about that is having to switch every time I do inside and back out again.

I had a pair of subscription sunglasses like 5 years ago. But I never wore them because it was always too much of a hassle to carry an extra set of glasses with me. So they just gathered dust.
