Heh, I got contacts for the first time at like age... 32 or something? Specifically for use in cosplay. And oh man, it seemed like such a huge hassle at first to get them in, and the fact that I could FEEL them and so on... drove me nuts when I was practicing before the con. And yeah, it took about an hour to get them in - though I did what they tell you NOT to do when they explain it to you, and have much better luck getting them out if I use my fingernails to sort of pick them out.

But yeah, I was always having to allow like an hour to get them in in the morning because I blinked so much and so on. Then one day I was running late and there was a photoshoot to get to and I was just like "RAAAAAWWWWR" about the whole thing and just put the darned thing on my finger and STUCK IT IN MY EYE. First try. It worked. I was like "What the HECK?!"

So uhm... impatience might help? :D

Usually it takes a bit of frustration because I just don't care anymore about jabbing.
