i've actually never heard of this game. but ironically, i bought an snes off of a friend two days ago and now i'm excited to buy this game online to try it out.

28- creating fanon for characters pisses me off a little bit. I know people want to flesh out characters... but the fact that they tend to just make shit up that has no basis whatsoever in canon is just silly. :/ I mean.. I created a little bit of fanon for one of the characters I rp, but everything - I mean everything - I create for him has some basis in his canon somewhere.

(...except, of course, his dislike for peas. But not everyone likes every food, right? And he's the kind of guy who'd really get annoyed if he was eating and something squished in his mouth. ...yes. EVEN SO, peas aren't, like, a huge characterization thing alfkdjssdlkjf)

16) Man, II's battle system, I get the annoyance, but once you learn it? I LOVED it once I learned how to use it. :d I love the fandom too though, and I'm currently sending my extra copy of I to a third person now since I'm trying to send it around to people in the RP I am in.

And I absolutely LOVE every single person in the Xenofandom that I've met, a lot through this community since they've commented to me and eee felt sohappy. :D

RICHARD AND HERMANN ARE SO AWESOME I'm so glad they were in the DS game and drama CDs more.

#39. I LOVE this game! I've loved it for ever and ever. I only wish I had a copy of it -- it's not that cheap. My SNES is still in fine working order, so some day I'll give in and put down the cash for it, because this game? Will always be awesome to me.

(I was totally considering making a secret for it, involving my random weird 'ship for it, but I never did. XD)

Jesus, why do you care?

It's hard to pinpoint specific things, but I'll try. I'm not fond of the characters, especially the Elric brothers, which is a big change from my feelings towards their anime counterparts. There's something about the little differences in their behavior that annoys me. I'm also not engaged by the plot. The set-up was great, but it started to feel more and more like it was being made up on the fly and that the stories from the beginning didn't matter at all in the big scope of things. Of course, I haven't read it since about the time Ed saw Al's body outside the Gate, so it may be different now. Mostly it just rubs me the wrong way, but people are so elitist about the manga being superior to the anime in all conceivable ways that I get worked up about not being able to see what's so great about it and instead just hate it for letting me down.

*SQUEAL* Oh. My. GOD. That game ranks among my all-time favorite games ever, beside Earthbound. *______________________________________*

And here I thought I was the only one...

6; I actually had trouble with the fight with the hobgoblin leader facing off on the bridge. it took me two days to beat it the first time playing it first on GC then later on Wii. But I do know people who had a lot of trouble with that mission, and failed it several times, so, don't give up! The game is awesome and it's really a shame to miss out on the rest of it. (I usually say that the best bet for passing the mission is to always stay right behind the wagon, but it's not much of a strategy.)

37; This is actually quite literally the only reason I'm still watching Lost. I almost can't stand anything else in the show, but I'm trying to see it through for this ship. XD
