Really? D: I remember the Patriarch KICKING MY ASS my first play through where I failed at the system. And my second play through after I learned how to use element swords and and EATK up ethers I could whoop him down the 17k HP he had to hit before he started calling Omega. >:

But yeah, the time it took to GET IT ALL READY despite ass kicking pissed me off because while you do it the enemies come and ... kick your ass in the meantime. ;O;

It just seemed very disorganized and not well thought out to me. Double Attacks were pretty, but useless for anything except as something for chaos x KOS-MOS shippers to squeal over Grand Rondo.

I remember getting pissed that my attacks would do 100 damage while the enemy pulls off 745 or whatever and the only strategy that seems to exist in the game is stocking up and knocking the enemies up or down, unless you use some ether.

Though I'm sure some of my earlier prejudice over some of the VA changes and my loathing for the XSII art style had something to do with it as well. >>

Yeah I ... I actually never used the Double Attacks! Like, ever. XD But they were pretty!

Yeah downing was an extra pain, it's like you have to do it in order to really hit them, which it did hit hard when they were! But so much pain getting to the point.

And oh I agree. The VA changes and graphics made me sadface so much. But URTV backstory made up for it since I am a ho for them. XD
